I'm super tired and not going to write a huge long post at the moment, save to say that the photos from the beginning of my journey are posted on the right side of this page under "My Pictures". Yesterday, we ran around downtown and went to the American History Museum which was pretty awesome (and closing TODAY until 2008!) so I'm really glad we got to see it before it shut down. But of course, you can NEVER spend enough time there. Oh well- another excuse to come back. After that, we went to the National Symphony concert on the west lawn of the Capitol. It was absolutely incredible and something that I can't imagine ever experiencing again. They played mostly Copeland and John Williams with some Broadway mixed within. Wonderful music with an unbelievable backdrop made for the perfect end to my first week here. Today (Monday) we had our TWC-wide picnic in Arlington. No big shakes really--free food and a few sports but we only stayed for about 2 hours and then came back to nap and figure out all the stuff we need for this coming week (and semester). Orientation on Friday was pretty overwhelming and it's about time I sat down and figured out what assignments I need to begin. Anyway, I'm keeping busy and wearing myself out so it's time for a nap. Hope everyone is doing well!
Listening to...Stations by Denison Witmer. Good stuff :)
