a little better...

Well, things are getting a little bit better here. Yesterday was a fiasco but today I talked to a gentleman at the Mongomery Cty. Public Defenders office and it looks like I will be taking an opportunity there for at least the next week or two until my security clearance with DHS goes through. I am really tired of this whole situation and I hate that it is weighing on how much I am enjoying my time here. Still, I'm trying to look on the bright side of things and I just keep hoping that things will get better sooner rather than later. Tonight I have my second class with Prof. McCarthy. This week we're learning about Vietnam which I am excited for as one of my personal goals (we have to make a goals statement for TWC) for this semester was to learn more about Vietnam. Í've always been kind of intrigued so it will be nice to spend 3 hours talking about something that i'm actually interested in rather than a more boring subject. Still, having 3 hours of class after 8 hours of work is going to be kind of rough, I can already tell. Also, I posted a few more pictures from this past weekend when we all went out to a bar together with the Puerto Rican kids that are here. Anyway, back to my book/watching tv/checking my e-mail/waiting for my package to get here.

Listening to...Murray- Pete Yorn (side note--Tiff and I are going to try to scalp tickets for the Pete Yorn concert in DC this Saturday... hopefully that will work out!)

Miss you lots.
Love-
